Rookie RB D’Andre Swift is expected to have an expanded role when the Lions take on the Falcons in Week 7. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Swift broke out in a big way in Week 6, totaling 123 yards and two touchdowns. He still only saw 38% of the snaps against the Jaguars last week, but that’s expected to change today after his big performance. If Swift plays even 50% of the snaps against a subpar Atlanta defense, RB1 production isn’t out of the realm of possibilities for the rookie running back.
