When questioned if QB Cam Newton would be the Patriots starting QB going forward, HC Bill Belichick replied, "Yeah, absolutely." (Ryan Hannable on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Newton was benched for Jarrett Stidham on Sunday after throwing three picks in a 33-6 loss blowout loss to San Francisco. Newton's job appears to be safe but it won't get any easier for Newton as he'll face the 5-2 Buffalo Bills next week.
