Panthers' star RB Christian McCaffrey (ankle) returned to practice in uniform on Monday, yet it should be noted that he remains a 'long shot' to play in Week 8 against the division rival Falcons on Thursday night, per sources. (Myles Simmons on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
McCaffrey has been out on IR dealing with an ankle injury he suffered against the Buccaneers in Week 2. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor McCaffrey's status leading up to Thursday night, however, be prepared for RB Mike Davis to start against Atlanta on a short week.
