Robert Woods loses a fumble, does nothing in Rams' Week 7 win

by Alex Burns | Texans Correspondent | Tue, Oct 27th 10:37am EDT

Robert Woods caught 3-of-5 targets for 22 yards and rushed four times for 23 yards during the Rams' 24-10 win over the Bears. He also lost a fumble late in the fourth quarter that was scooped up for a touchdown.

Fantasy Impact:

This was easily Woods' worst performance of the season and it's possible he wasn't entirely healthy after nursing a groin injury throughout the week. Outside of 13 yard catch on the Rams' opening drive and a 25-yard run in the third quarter, Woods' name was barely mentioned and his five targets were behind both Cooper Kupp (6) and Josh Reynolds (8). To make matters even worse, Woods' also lost a fumble late in the fourth quarter that was returned for a Bears' touchdown. He should have better days than this but the low volume was going to catch up to him sooner rather than later. Consider him a low-end WR2 against the Dolphins in Week 8.
