Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey (ankle) arrived at practice Tuesday wearing a non-contact red jersey, which means he will not participate in Tuesday’s practice, making him a long-shot to play Thursday night. (David Newton on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It’s been reported all along that McCaffrey would be a long shot to play on Thursday night against the Falcons, and it’s looking like that will be the case. It’ll likely be the last week of feature-back Mike Davis, but he should be considered a RB1 against Atlanta. McCaffrey will look to make his return in Week 9 against the Chiefs.
