Eli Apple released by Carolina

Fantasy Impact:
Apple, the former 10th overall pick of the 2016 NFL draft, Has never really been the difference-maker he was thought of when coming out of Ohio State. He's battled injuries since being signed by Carolina in May and was active for only the second time this season this past Sunday against his former team the Saints. Despite the notion that they were in the midst of a total rebuild, the Carolina D/ST has played admirably but should not be started in most fantasy leagues.
