Alex Collins is being brought into Seattle for COVID-19 testing. Assuming he passes, he will join the Seahawks practice squad as early as next week. (Brady Henderson on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

With Chris Carson, Carlos Hyde, and Travis Homer all injured, the Seahawks are calling a running back in that they drafted in 2016. Collins, now just 26-years-old, did little in his time in Seattle. He did, however, flashed in 2017 with 973 yards and six touchdowns over 15 games. He got the starting nod in 2018 but his season was cut short by injuries and he has not played in the NFL since. This is likely no more than a depth add to help with the running back corps's temporary ailments. He could be worth a speculative pickup in deep leagues but given Carson's production, Hyde's pedigree, and DeeJay Dallas's draft capital don't expect to see much on-field production out of Collins this year.
