Aaron Jones and the Packers are hopeful that he will be able to play in Thursday night's game against the 49er's. He will go through pregame warmups and if he feels 100% he will get a chance to play. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This muddies the waters for Green Bay's backfield. Tyler Ervin was reported to get the "bulk of the carries" and Dexter Williams was promoted from the practice squad to provide some additional depth. Even if Jones is active for this game, the Packers history of playing it safe regarding injuries makes him a risky play. More information on his availability and role should come as we near kickoff.
