Chris Jones is expected to practice on Friday heading into Week 9. Jones was previously placed on reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday due to being in close contact with someone who was infected. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Jones is expected to play in Week 9. Jones being active and available mainly helps IDP league managers. This slightly downgrades the Panthers' rushing attack and Teddy Bridewater.
