Seahawks' HC Pete Carroll has reportedly signed a five-year contract extension that could make him the highest paid coach in the league, per Adam Schefter. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Carroll has had a tremendous amount of success in Seattle over the past decade, tallying eight playoff appearances, two Super Bowl appearances and a Super Bowl win over Denver in 2013. Carroll has listened to Seahawks fans' chant of "let Russ cook" this season and it has resulted in QB Russell Wilson leading the MVP race with 26 passing touchdowns. Seattle will look to improve to 7-1 as they travel to Buffalo in Week 9.
