Devonta Freeman (ankle) limited in practice Thursday

by Matthew MacKay | Thu, Nov 12th 4:30pm EST

Giants' RB Devonta Freeman (ankle) aggravated the ankle injury he's been dealing with since Week 7 but remains hopeful to play against the Eagles on Sunday, per Ian Rapoport. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Freeman has been pedestrian in the five games he's started filling in for injured star RB Saquon Barkley. Averaging just 3.2 YPC and one rushing touchdown, his involvement in the Giants' passing game is limited with only seven receptions for 58 yards on ten targets for the season. Continue monitoring Freeman's status heading into Friday's practice. If he is cleared to play, it remains a difficult matchup against the Eagles' run defense.
