Part of what might have appealed to the Patriots in signing free-agent cornerback Robert McClain (Falcons) is his versatility. He lined up outside right (184 snaps), outside left (14), slot left (105), slot right (99) and at safety (67) last season. (ESPN Boston)
Fantasy Impact:
One of the Patriot's strengths last year was the cornerback position which due to free agency losses is now one of the weaker spots on the team. Robert McClain could be an underrated signing by New England. He has the versatility the coaching staff loves and will be utilized in different situations for the defense.
