Matthew Stafford expected to play and start in Week 11

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting Lions QB Matthew Stafford (thumb) is expected to start in Week 11, confirming a report from earlier in the week. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

While Danny Amendola (hip), Kenny Golladay (hip), and D'Andre Swift (concussion) all ruled out with their respective injuries, Stafford will be a go in an exploitable road matchup at the Panthers. Carolina is allowing the 18th most FPPG (19.4) to enemy quarterbacks while being gashed in recent memory. The Panthers' defense has surrendered at least 281 passing yards and three total touchdowns to an opposing signal-caller in three of their past four games, including back-to-back games yielding north of 340 yards and four scores (Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady). Even with three of his most-dependable skill position players sidelined, Stafford brings a respectable floor for your fantasy football teams in Week 11. He may not pop, but he also is unlikely to lose you the week either.
