Cam Akers rushed five times for 15 yards and caught his lone target for four yards and a touchdown during the Rams' 27-24 victory over the Buccaneers on Monday Night Football.
Akers' four-yard reception in the first half marked the first score of his professional career. His five carries were still behind Darrell Henderson but more than Malcolm Brown on a night where Jared Goff threw 51 passes. With all three Rams' running back fully healthy, this is certainly a backfield to stay away from if possible, though Akers presents the most upside due to his high draft pedigree and Sean McVay's expressed desire for him to take over the job at some point in the season. Akers' likely won't be a recommended fantasy play for Week 12 but is a fantastic bench stash.
