Ekeler returned to practice on Wednesday but has yet to be officially activated off IR. The Chargers could bring him back now with Kalen Ballage (ankle, calf) questionable and Justin Jackson (knee) still on IR. Ekeler will be an RB2 with RB1 upside whenever he returns.
