Colts rookie RB Jonathan Taylor (reserve/COVID-19) was considered a “high-risk close contact” but did not test positive for COVID-19. As long as Taylor continues to test negative, he should be available to play in Week 13 against the Texans. (Jim Ayello on Twitter)
It’ll be a 5-day mandated absence for Taylor according to the NFL’s policy on “high risk close contacts.” Colts head coach Frank Reich confirmed Taylor did not test positive and that he should be available when the Colts travel to Houston to take on the Texans in Week 13. This is a fantastic matchup on paper for Taylor, who should be considered a RB2 with upside.
