Patriots quarterback Jarrett Stidham entered Thursday night's game against the Los Angeles Rams in relief of Cam Newton with 10:12 remaining in the fourth quarter and the Patriots trailing, 24-3. (Mike Reiss on Twitter)

With the Patriots generating just three points of offense through nearly three and a half quarters, Stidham enters a game that is already out of hand. However, he may be auditioning for the starting role in the coming weeks.
