Jeff Wilson Jr. finds the endzone but loses fumble in 49ers' Week 14 loss

by Alex Burns | Dolphins Correspondent | Mon, Dec 14th 9:49am EST

Jeff Wilson Jr. rushed 11 times for 31 yards and a touchdown while hauling in 1-of-3 targets for an additional 13 yards during the 49ers' 15-23 loss to the WFT in Week 14.

Fantasy Impact:

Wilson Jr. salvaged his fantasy day with a one-yard score early in the game but couldn't do anything else with the rest of his touches. Raheem Mostert (16 touches) briefly left the game in the first half to be checked for a concussion but quickly returned to his lead back duties. If anything, Wilson Jr. is clearly ahead of Tevin Coleman and Jerrick McKinnon in the pecking order and would be a plug and play RB2 if something were to happen to Mostert. He is also seeing enough workload to warrant roster status throughout the playoffs if you can afford to stash him on your bench. A Week 15 date against a poor Cowboys defense should provide enough floor for both Wilson Jr. and Mostert to be fantasy relevant options.
