Rob Gronkowski hauls in 29-yard reception in NFC Championship game win

by Matthew MacKay | Buccaneers Correspondent | Sun, Jan 24th 9:10pm EST

Rob Gronkowski caught his lone target for 29 yards in a 31-26 win against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Gronkowski was involved in a specially-designed play that saw the veteran tight end motion out of the backfield and into the flat for a 29-yard reception in an otherwise quiet performance. Gronkowski and Brady will head to yet another Super Bowl as NFC Champions and can attempt to get their fourth Super Bowl win together against either the Chiefs or Bills. Fantasy managers enjoyed a surprisingly reliable resurgence from Gronkowski in the second half of the 2020 regular season but it remains unknown if he plans to return to Tampa Bay for the 2021 season.
