Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network is reporting that Chiefs superstar QB Patrick Mahomes is expected to have surgery on his ailing toe after the season. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

“Mahomes is expected to see a foot specialist and will likely have surgery to repair his ailing toe, per Rapoport. “The expectation is that it won't heal on its own, an indication of just how significant the injury is.” Mahomes would like to win a Super Bowl first and will look to lead the Chiefs to a repeat. He said his toe feels a “lot better” and shouldn’t be a problem for the Super Bowl. Mahomes is expected to be fully recovered by the time training camp starts in 2021.
