Sam Darnold rumor: Multiple teams have reached out to Jets about trade

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports multiple teams have reached out to the Jets to inquire about trading for QB Sam Darnold. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
"The Jets haven't turned away the calls, per sources, but they also haven't made any final and firm quarterback decisions about what direction they want to or are ready to go," Schefter writes. He notes the team could use the compensation they receive for Darnold to acquire another quarterback, or they could use the No. 2 overall pick on a new signal caller. With a new head coach in town (Robert Saleh) expect the organization to ultimately trade the former third overall draft selection.
