Rob Gronkowski goes for 67 yards and two touchdowns in Super Bowl LV win

by Matthew MacKay | Sun, Feb 7th 11:23pm EST

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Rob Gronkowski hauled in six of seven targets for 67 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 31-9 blowout victory against the Kansas City Chiefs to win Super Bowl LV.

Fantasy Impact:

Gronkowski proved to be Tom Brady's favorite target in Super Bowl LV, leading the Buccaneers with seven targets and snagging a pair of touchdowns in the first half to quickly build a double-digit lead. Nothing is known about Gronkowski's NFL future at the moment but Brady confirmed he will be returning to Tampa in 2021, signaling a possible return for his long-time teammate and friend as well. Should Gronk decide to return with Brady in 2021, he should be considered a top-12 tight end in redraft leagues based on the lack of depth that was exposed at the position throughout the 2020 season.
