Sammy Watkins caught his lone target for 13 yards in the Chiefs' 31-9 loss to the Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV.
Watkins made his return to the Chiefs lineup after missing time with a calf injury. He hadn't played since Week 16, and while he appeared to be healthy, he only received one target in a game where the Chiefs played from behind for the entire contest. Watkins' future in KC is undetermined, as he's floated the idea of retirement since last season. Should he not return, Mecole Hardman and Demarcus Robinson would move up the Chiefs' depth chart next season. Watkins' season ends with a career-low 421 receiving yards.
