Russell Wilson not going to be traded, despite other teams' inquiries

Other teams have been inquiring about Seahawks superstar quarterback Russell Wilson's availability via trade, but Seattle has shown no inclination to deal him. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

After a down season, it makes sense that quarterback-needy teams would be reaching out hoping to buy low on the 32-year-old superstar. As expected though, the Seahawks have no interest in trading away the face of their franchise. Although a potential out is built into his contract following the 2021 season, he's likely to finish out his deal in Seattle and play there through at least 2023. With Carson Wentz and Deshaun Watson both in trade discussions and plenty of free agents available, this offseason will be one of the bigger "starting quarterback shakeups" that we've ever witnessed, but one that won't include the Seahawks or Wilson.
