Carson Wentz update: Bears are frontrunners to land quarterback

NFL insider Albert Breer is reporting that the Bears are the current frontrunner for Carson Wentz and that the Bears want to know that Wentz wants to go there before finalizing a deal. (Albert Breer on The Herd with Colin Cowherd)
Fantasy Impact:
The Bears and Colts have been the two main suitors for Wentz since he was put on the Eagles' trading block. It appears as if the holdup right now is that the Bears are worried that Wentz doesn't want to play in Chicago, as Breer is reporting that the Bears have the best offer on the table. The Bears could certainly use the help at quarterback, and if they're unable to land Wentz via trade before April's draft they may use their 20th pick to address that position.
