Allen Robinson has 'come to fork in road' with negotiations in Chicago

Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson has "come to a fork in the road" amidst contract negotiations with the front office, as the talented receiver appears to be heading towards a franchise tag if he opts to stay in Chicago for the 2021 season. (NFL.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Robinson caught 102 of 151 targets for Chicago in 2020, racking up 1,250 yards and six touchdowns to be the clear-cut option in the Bears' receiving corps. Despite these numbers, Robinson is reportedly having a difficult time arriving at a long-term contract extension, telling Around the NFL's Nick Shook, "With all that being said, unfortunately we've come to what seems to be a fork in the road. But not even a fork. We haven't even been given a viable option to be able to do those things that we want to do without sacrificing a ridiculous amount pretty much for the rest of my career." Robinson will field plenty of suitors on the open market should he decide to force a trade out of Chicago, as his elite receiving abilities can revamp an offense missing a clear-cut WR1. Fantasy managers and fans alike should continue to closely monitor this situation in Chicago.
