Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin stated, "I want to be in Tampa. But at the end of the day, I want to get paid too." The Bucs receiver is expected to receive the franchise tag in 2021 and will reportedly work towards a long-term deal with the team in 2022. (James Palmer on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Godwin hauled in 81 receptions for 1,072 yards and eight touchdowns, including a huge five reception, 110 yard performance against the Packers in the NFC Championship game. With the Buccaneers expected to use the franchise tag on the talented fourth-year receiver in the 2021 season, fantasy managers can expect Godwin to take on a similar WR1/WR2 role alongside Mike Evans. It also helps to have legendary QB Tom Brady returning to the helm after establishing continuity during the team's successful Super Bowl title run in 2020.
