Lynch was asked if there was any doubt in his mind that Garoppolo would still be the quarterback next year. "No,” he said. “Not at all. I really believe that.” However, Lynch added that the organization probably needs to add someone behind him. This makes sense as Garoppolo has dealt with injuries in recent years, but backups C.J. Beathard and Nick Mullens haven't been able to get the job done.
