In a recent article published by The Athletic, Michael-Shawn Dugar, Mike Sando, and Jayson Jenks are reporting that Russell Wilson's camp has reached out to the Seahawks about a potential trade, citing the Dolphins, Jets, Saints, and Raiders as potential landing spots. The reporters said that "some people around the league think a trade could happen, if not this offseason then sometime in the near future." (The Athletic)

Fantasy Impact:

In an article titled "What is driving the rift between Russell Wilson and Seahawks? ‘Power and control,’" Dugar, Sando, and Jenks are stating that Wilson's camp has already approached the team about working out a trade that would send the superstar quarterback out of Seattle for the first time since he was drafted in the third round back in 2012. Wilson took the league by storm, making the playoffs as a rookie, winning a Super Bowl his second year, and coming up short in the Super Bowl in his third year. Since that early run, the Seahawks have failed to reach the NFC Championship Game, although they've gone 62-33 in the regular season since. The Seahawks have not made a statement yet, but if the 32-year-old star is on the trading block, he would be an extremely hot target. We will bring you more updates if this story continues to develop.
