Cam Newton continues to receive praise from Bill Belichick

Fantasy Impact:
Newton signed with New England late last offseason and had to learn a new offense on the fly. Additionally, he tested positive for COVID early on and didn't have much offensive talent around him. Even though it was a frustrating season at times it's understandable why Belichick would have so much respect for the former MVP. Now a free agent, it was initially believed that the Patriots would seek an upgrade over Newton this spring. Perhaps we shouldn't entirely rule out Newton re-signing, though. The Patriots have the 15th pick in the draft and of now it's unclear who their other quarterback options really are.
