Phillip Lindsay wanted back by Broncos

Mike Klis of 9 News is reporting that the Broncos plan to give RB Phillip Lindsay a restricted free agent tender. (Mike Klis on Twitter )

“ He’s (Lindsay) a restricted free agent, we do plan on tendering him. I’m not sure what level but we want Phillip here,” said Broncos GM George Paton. He could could make up to $2.13 million as an original round tender. Lindsay dealt with hip/knee injuries and was eventually placed on injured reserve in 2020. The Broncos will most likely bring him back to share RB duties with Melvin Gordon. Lindsay logged 118 carries for 502 rushing yards along with seven receptions for 28 receiving yards and one touchdown across 11 games in 2020.
