Corey Davis and Jonnu Smith reportedly won’t be brought back by Titans

by Brad Camara | Mon, Mar 15th 12:43pm EDT

Dianna Russini of ESPN is reporting that the Titans won’t bring back WR Corey Davis and TE Jonnu Smith. Both Davis and Smith will become free agents. (Dianna Russini on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Davis and Smith are not part of the Titans plan as they continue to build their offense around RB Derrick Henry and WR AJ Brown. Davis is coming off his best season in 2020, hauling in 65 receptions for 984 yards and five touchdowns across 12 games. He should draw heavy interest from multiple teams looking to add a wide receiver. As for Jonnu, he caught 41 passes for 448 yards and eight touchdowns last season. Hunter Henry and Smith are the top available tight ends in free agency and are reportedly seeking $10 million annually. Smith is currently 13th among all tight ends, but that ranking could rise depending on which team he lands with.
