Williams acknowledged that he would not be returning to the Packers after Green Bay signed RB Aaron Jones to a four-year extension. He became a free agent and ultimately landed a two-year deal with the Lions. Williams logged 119 carries for 505 yards while hauling in 31 receptions for 236 yards and three touchdowns across 14 games for the Packers. The 25-year-old bolsters the Lions backfield and will compliment breakout RB D’Andre Swift.
