Mo Alie-Cox receives second-round tender by Indy, becomes RFA

According to sources, TE Mo Alie-Cox has become a restricted free agent after receiving a second-round tender by the Indianapolis Colts. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Alie-Cox has morphed into a strong blocking TE for the Colts, and it shows how much they value him by slapping on a second-round tender to acquire the versatile TE. He finished the 2020 season with 31 catches for 394 yards and two touchdowns, but his path to fantasy relevance is hampered by Jack Doyle and the Colts' commitment to the run. With the TE market slimming up, the Colts added more insurance to protect newly acquired QB Carson Wentz. However, Wentz could use a more reliable pass-catcher up the seams. This could be Alie-Cox, but we'll know in due time.
