Benny Snell Jr. unlikely to remain atop RB depth chart, per beat writer

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Benny Snell Jr., who is currently atop the Steelers depth chart at running back after the team chose not to re-sign James Conner, is unlikely to remain the top back once the season gets underway, per Mark Kaboly of The Athletic. (The Athletic)

Fantasy Impact:

The Steelers still have a chance to add another back via free agency or draft one in the first or second round of the upcoming draft, which is the more likely scenario of the two. "It’s hard to imagine they will go into the season with Benny Snell Jr. as their No. 1 back, even though he’s been successful when given the opportunity," Kaboly added when referencing Snell Jr. The 23-year-old University of Kentucky product totaled 368 rushing yard on 111 totes with four TD's while adding 10 receptions for 61 yards. He picked up some tough yards for the Steelers in December but the team struggled to get much push last season.
