Patrick Peterson: 'I came to play to cornerback' for Vikings

by Connor Rigg | Vikings Correspondent | Mon, Mar 22nd 12:43pm EDT

Chad Graff of The Athletic reports that Patrick Peterson came to Minnesota to play cornerback, not safety. (Chad Graff on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact:

Peterson just sign a one-year deal with the Vikings during the off-season. He confirmed that he came to Minnesota to play cornerback and not safety like some might have suggested. Peterson has played cornerback his entire career for the Cardinals. In 2020, Peterson had three interceptions with eight passes defended and 52 solo tackles. Only 30-years old, Peterson still has juice left in the tank and will hope to improve the Vikings secondary that was torched all season long in 2020.
