Free-agent CB Eli Apple has reportedly signed a deal with the Cincinnati Bengals, per NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Apple played in two games for Carolina before being released due to injury for the remainder of the 2020 season. As a former first-round pick in the 2016 NFL draft, Apple totaled 107 tackles, 20 pass deflections, two forced fumbles, and an interception in three seasons for the New York Giants. He also recorded over 100 tackles and two interceptions in New Orleans during the 2018 and 2019 seasons before finding himself released from the Panthers. Apple appears to be the latest addition to a Bengals' defense that has undergone some changes this offseason and will look to utilize the athletic ranginess of the 25-year old cornerback alongside Bengals CB Trae Waynes and CB Chidobe Awuzie in 2021.
