Antonio Brown and Buccaneers 'are not close on money right now'

by Joshua Kellem | Thu, Apr 1st 3:03pm EDT

Antonio Brown and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in contract negotiations for the receiver to return to the team, but they're nowhere near an agreement on the financial terms. (NFL.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Brown's looking for a deal close to market value for veteran receivers, ranging between $4.5 million (DeSean Jackson) and $8 million (T.Y. Hilton). Tampa Bay, however, wants to re-sign Brown on a deal closer to the $2 million price tag he signed on last season. In eight games with the team, Brown totaled 45 receptions on 62 targets, 483 yards, and four touchdowns. If he returns, consider Brown the No.3 receiver for the team and a WR3/WR4 for fantasy football.
