Denzel Ward: Browns exercise fifth-year option on the DB

Cleveland picked up Ward's fifth-year option for $13.3 million for the 2022 season. The 23-year-old DB will be under contract with the Browns for the next two seasons. He plays a key role in the Browns secondary but has missed 11 games in his first three seasons. Ward racked up 46 tackles, two interceptions, and one forced fumble across 12 games in 2020.
