ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that several teams are expected to contact the 49ers about the availability of Jimmy Garoppolo, but the chances of a deal are currently "remote." (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Schefter adds that things could change within the next 72 hours. The problem the 49ers have is they possess no leverage in trade talks, since everyone knows they already made their big move for a QB in this draft. There's always a chance that Garoppolo could serve as a bridge starter, but San Francisco would likely prefer to get some compensation for him. We'll see how hungry other teams are for his services.
