Joe Mixon to be a three-down back according to Bengals OC

When asked about the Bengals’ plan for which tailback to use on third-downs, offensive coordinator Brian Callahan responded that he doesn’t want RB Joe Mixon to leave the field. (Ben Baby on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
“I think he’s up for that challenge,” said Callahan when talking about Mixon being used on third-downs this season. After an up-and-down 2020 season, it’s sounding like Mixon is going to be utilized as a true workhorse back in Cincinnati. With Joe Burrow slated to start Week 1, Mixon certainly has the skill set and opportunity to be a top-10 back in 2021.
