Washington Football Team head coach Ron Rivera told the media Wednesday that he expects RB Antonio Gibson will “make a big jump” in Year 2. (JP Finlay on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Last week it was reported that Washington wanted Gibson to run more pass routes this season, and now the head coach is talking about this “big jump” he’ll take in Year 2. At this point, it’s hard not to jump on the bandwagon. Considering Rivera was the head coach in Carolina when Christian McCaffrey was utilized as an every-down back, it wouldn’t be a shock to see him do something similar with Gibson in 2021. Gibson should be in consideration as a low-end RB1 this season.
