Former Tennessee Titans TE MyCole Pruitt has reportedly signed a deal with the San Francisco 49ers, per Tom Pelissero. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Pruitt enters his seventh year in the league as a member of the San Francisco 49ers, spending his last three seasons primarily as a blocking tight end for the Titans. Expect 49ers' head coach Kyle Shannahan to use Pruitt in a similar way, as he saw only 27 targets during his three-year tenure in Tennesse but started at least 11 games in each season. Pruitt's signing will help the 49ers seal blocks on the edge, which is a key component of the run-centric offense. As it stands, this signing does nothing to devalue George Kittle in any fantasy format but could elevate Raheem Mostert, Wayne Gallman, and Trey Sermon.
