Ian Rapoport of NFL Network is reporting that Falcons WR Calvin Ridley recently underwent minor foot surgery. He won’t participate in mini-camp but should be all systems go for training camp. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
According to Rapoport, the surgery was a “clean up” and Ridley should be fine by training camp. The Falcons recently traded WR Julio Jones, making Ridley Atlanta’s undisputed No.1 wide receiver. With Julio out of the picture, expect Ridley to see an increased target share. Ridley broke out in 2020, hauling in 90 receptions for 1,374 yards and nine touchdowns across 15 games. The 26-year-old is currently fifth among all wideouts in the latest expert consensus draft rankings. Ridley is a surefire WR1 in upcoming fantasy drafts.
