Antonio Gibson could take on more work as a pass-catcher this season

According to Ben Standig of The Athletic, Washington RB Antonio Gibson could become a larger factor as a receiver in his second season. (Ben Standig on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

“If Washington’s practices reveal anything about future plans, expect Antonio Gibson to become a bigger factor as a receiver.” The Gibson hype train is full speed ahead this off-season. First it was Ron Rivera saying he could break out, now reports from camp are he’s become more active as a receiver. The skill set is certainly there for Gibson, now it’s just a matter of putting it all together. Don’t forget, Rivera coached Christian McCaffrey in Carolina a few years back and was willing to feed him 100+ targets per season. Gibson could very well climb up draft boards as we head closer and closer to the start of the regular season.
