Aaron Rodgers reportedly turned down a two-year contract extension

by Brendan Tuma | Jets Correspondent | Tue, Jul 20th 9:08am EDT

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports the Packers offered QB Aaron Rodgers a two-year contract extension this offseason. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Schefter notes the extension would've kept Rodgers in Green Bay for five more seasons and made him the highest paid player in football. However, Rodgers has been adamant that this isn't about money for him. With training camp just around the corner the Packers' offensive identity is entirely up in the air. Davante Adams and Aaron Jones are both risky early-round picks until we get some clarity on Rodgers' mindset.
