Aaron Rodgers, Packers reportedly close to agreement to set up one last run

by Brendan Tuma | Packers Correspondent | Mon, Jul 26th 3:56pm EDT

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Packers are close to an agreement that would bring Aaron Rodgers back to Green Bay for at least one more season. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Schefter adds that the deal isn't done but that it's close. Rodgers has been planning to skip training camp, but these new terms would bring him back. They reportedly don't involve more money, and they will instead help set up Rodgers' departure from Green Bay after this season. The 2023 season in his contract will be voided, with no tags allowed in the future. It's a huge development for fantasy managers as this news wildly affects the values of both Davante Adams and Aaron Jones as well. Gamers who were drafting Packers skill players at reduced ADPs this offseason have suddenly been rewarded.
