The Washington Football have signed TE Logan Thomas to a three-year extension on Tuesday. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Thomas had a career year with Washington in 2020, hauling in 72 catches on 110 targets for 670 yards and six touchdowns across 16 games. He had 19% of the team’s target percentage last season, sixth among all tight ends. The 30-year-old remains in Washington for the next three seasons and expects to play a vital role in the passing game in 2021. Washington did bring in wide receivers Curtis Samuel, Adam Humphries, and third-round pick Dyami Brown in the offseason. Thomas may not see as heavy of a volume of targets as he did in 2020, but with an improved offense and better quarterback play (Ryan Fitzpatrick), the veteran TE should produce for fantasy managers in 2021. Thomas is borderline TE1 and currently 12th among all tight ends in the latest expert consensus draft rankings.
