The 49ers and quarterback Trey Lance have officially agreed to a four-year, $34.1 million rookie contract that is fully guaranteed. The deal includes an option for a fifth season. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Lance, a client of CAA Football, was the second-to-last first-round pick who remained unsigned. Now, after today's update from Santa Clara, No. 2 pick Zach Wilson is the only first-rounder who hasn't struck a deal. Lance, who was taken by the 49ers after they traded up to the No. 3 selection, impressed at North Dakota State but opted out of the 2020 season. He's expected to open the year on the bench behind Jimmy Garoppolo but should eventually leapfrog him and become the starter. He ranks 27th among quarterbacks in the latest expert consensus draft rankings and 13th in the lastest dynasty rankings.
