Randall Cobb restructures contract

by Elvin Ryan | Jets Correspondent | Sun, Aug 1st 3:38pm EDT

Randall Cobb restructured his deal after being traded to the Packers, converting $4.075M of his $5.25M salary into a signing bonus. That drops his cap number for 2021 down to $2,687,254, as a void year was added in 2023. (Field Yates on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

After being traded to Green Bay from Houston, in what seemed like a concession for Aaron Rodgers, Cobb is already showing his flexibility and desire to help the Packers front office by restructuring his deal. The veteran receiver could be a solid flex play due to his chemistry with Rodgers, but also offers huge upside if anything were to happen to Davante Adams.
